Muslims meet in mosques and other congregation locations on the morning of Eid to exchange greetings and offer Eid prayers. Visiting friends and family, throwing food parties, and exchanging sweets are all ways to commemorate the occasion. Children receive financial gifts known as “Salami” from their elders, family members, and well-wishers in addition to new clothes and shoes.
People use the opportunity to express their gratitude to Allah for enabling them to finish their month-long spiritual fast and to forgive. Many Muslims give food and money to those who are less fortunate. At 8:30 a.m., the capital’s National Eidgah on the grounds of the High Court will host the main Eid-ul-Fitr jamaat. The Baitul Mukarram National Mosque will host five congregations. The first congregation is scheduled for 7:00 am, followed by those at 8:00 am, 9:00 am, 10:00 am, and 10:45 am.

Saudi Arabia has declared that tomorrow (March 30) will be the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr. The Gulf news has confirmed the information. So, the people in Saudi, will be celebrating one of the biggest festival of Muslims, Eid-ul-Fitr on Sunday.
The crescent moon was seen at Sudair and Tamir observatories in the Country, Al Arabiya has confirmed the report.
Before that, the sighting committees began the process of investigating the sighting of the Eid-ul-Fitr moon at the period of sunset in all over Saudi Arabia. There were fixed members for the investigation of moon sight.
Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated on Shawwal 1, according to arabic calendar, which indicates the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Islamic months generally consists of 29 or 30 days, depending on when the Moon is sighted in that country .As the moon was sighted today, the Islamic month of holy Ramadan will consist of 29 days this time.
Earlier, Saudi Arabia suggested Muslim ummah across the country to look for the crescent moon on the 29th of Ramadan.
In an official announcement, the Supreme Court of the country earlier this week called on anyone who sights the moon which can be either with the naked eye or using binoculars, to report their observation to the nearest court and register their testimonial authority.
Eid on Sunday in Saudi Arabia rises high possibilities that the Eid in Bangladesh will be on Tuesday. We have seen over the years, Eid in Bangladesh occurs after the date of Saudi Arabia. Though Bangladesh have their own authority to decide it, they will call upon a meeting to see the moon, and a give a proper decision.
